Last year, NYC&G joined the ranks of designers, donors, and friends as the media sponsor of the annual gala and auction for Bailey House, which provides housing programs and supportive services to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS. NYC&G Editor in Chief Kendell Cronstrom and I were thrilled to see the turnout of design-industry talents, many of whom were immortalized by the late, great photographer Bill Cunningham, who snapped our photo for The New York Times.

At this year’s benefit, on March 9 at Chelsea Piers, NYC&G will be unveiling a sumptuous sitting room vignette designed by furniture giant Baker. The entire display’s contents will be auctioned off that night and during the weekend that follows (why not buy the whole thing!). Adding to the excitement, longtime Bailey House supporter and Tony Award–winning actor Alan Cumming will be the gala’s host.
