Design Salon
In September we were delighted to host our first autumn supper at Studio Roeper with co-presenter Rocky Mountain Hardware. SFC&G Editor in Chief Alisa Carroll was joined by nine of San Francisco’s leading designers and architects for a lively discussion about what is driving and defining next-generation wine country design.
The setting? A single 14-by-6-foot oak table hand-hewn by designer Florian Roeper, set with Belgian linens and fall blooms in shades of russet. Gathering around the table for dinner and wine pairings by Jean-Charles Boisset were Richard Beard, David Oldroyd, Catherine Kwong, Nicole Hollis, Brad Krefman, Neal Schwartz, Kelly Hohla, Carl Baker and Alan Deal, as well as our delightful co-host, Patsy Nickum, founder of Rocky Mountain Hardware. As we embark on the fall arts season on both coasts, we’re reminded at C&G how fortunate we are to enjoy the company and friendship of those helping to lead the cultural conversation.
