I love the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show! the fantastic foods—from oysters and the best Champagne to a paralyzing selection of desserts—are exceeded only by the quality of the exhibitors. It truly is a sparkling event. As a sponsor of the show, SFC&G and a group of special guests are privileged to attend the VIP pre-opening cocktail party, where we can take a leisurely stroll from booth to booth and sample the delicious fare. All of this takes place before the doors open to 4,000 or so antiques enthusiasts when the pace quickens, the heat rises and the conversation reaches a crescendo.

At this year’s festivities, join SFC&G Editor in Chief Alisa Carroll on October 24 when she moderates an all-star designer panel. At this much-anticipated event, two of San Francisco’s most prominent designers will discuss bringing art and antiques into your SFCandGsepttxthome, mixing the old with the new and what to look for when creating a space that speaks to you.

This month, SFC&G is also a sponsor of the Architecture and the City Festival. Presented by AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design, the event is one of the nation’s largest architectural festivals. Held in San Francisco every September, the month-long celebration features walking tours, films, exhibitions, lectures and more that address varying aspects of the
design and planning process. See you there!
