All Things Digital

Marianne Howaston, CEO Letter SFCandGThere’s now muchmore to love at

You will notice a new design this month enabling our online community to engage with our content like never before! It is important that our readers can get the information that they love in a larger-than-life format in the pages of our magazines but still be able to interact with it on their mobile devices.

We have been careful to grow our website and digital properties organically so that our readership is as passionate about visiting our website and following our social media channels as they are about flipping through the pages of our magazines.

Page views on are up 54 percent from last year; our newsletter C&G Insider’s open rate is 34 percent above industry average; and referral traffic from social media is up 45 percent from last year!

Our advertisers appreciate that we have an extraordinarily high engagement among our followers and that we are not just “racking up the numbers.” Garnet Hill had a huge response to a program on, and Best Plumbing Tile & Stone is in its third year as a design-channel sponsor. Über-broker Michelle and Co. will feature fabulous homes on Properties of Note on the Deeds & Don’ts real estate channel, and Miele will also be featured in a 10-part series in the C&G Insider.

Overall last year, we enjoyed a 420-percent increase in advertising for our digital products and are delighted that our strategy is working.
