What’s In a Name?

Marianne Howaston, CEO Letter SFCandGIn our case, a lot. Recently, as we surveyed our group of media products, we decided it would be easier to group them under one umbrella: C&G Media Group.

Apart from the C&G in all of our magazine titles—HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens), CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens), NYC&G (New York Cottages & Gardens) and SFC&G (San Francisco Cottages & Gardens), we produce C&GTV, the C&G Insider (our connection between industry leaders and the design community), the C&G Circle, C&G Productions, C&G Shop the Look ™ ecommerce platform and IC&G (Iconic Cottages & Gardens), which is our initiative to aid preservation of iconic properties.

So you will see C&G Media Group cropping up on all of our materials from now on.

We have also moved our Connecticut headquarters in Norwalk to a bigger space, exchanging our pretty waterfront location for a larger office. They say a change is as good as a rest, and while I am not sure that we are rested (after our best year ever in the Hamptons and publishing every two weeks in high season!), we are certainly energized and looking forward to a great 2016, which heralds the 15th year of HC&G and the 5th year of NYC&G.
