Think Pink

Marianne Howaston, CEO Letter SFCandGThe excitement is mounting at our offices as it does every year before Pink Aid. As cofounders of Pink Aid—the annual must-attend fashion show, auction and luncheon fundraiser at Mitchells in Westport—we at CTC&G are hard at work contacting and advising designers on their wonderful creations, which will be photographed and auctioned off at the lunch. The theme this year is “Bar Carts and Boudoirs.” Bar carts are the ultra-fashionable addition to homes today as a celebratory symbol for our survivors; and boudoirs are a symbol of a cozy respite that so many need along the way.

This year’s runway show is by Vince, and our honored guest speaker is the remarkable Joan Lunden, a breast cancer survivor and educator who is the longest running female host on morning television having spent two decades as co-host of Good Morning America. Our partner Valerie Wilson Travel offers the world’s most fantastic trips, which make for lively bidding sessions!

It really is the best event of the year: The glamour and excitement is only outshone by the dedication to the cause and generosity of the 600 or so attendees. To see more about this year’s designers go to cottagesgardens.com/pink-aid/.

I look forward to seeing you there. mh-signatureCEO-Letter-Composite
