What’s in a name? Very little when you’ve fulfilled expectations. The greatest compliment we could have received was that our readers, when asked, thought that we had always had our new logo! This is a testament to the iconic stature of the magazine. Its size and layout and appearance are all so unique to our brand that the new look seemed to flow gracefully into their subconscious. Go on, look at the cover now and see what I mean! ■ Our eighth anniversary party at Cindy Rinfret’s home was attended by a who’s who of the Connecticut and New York business communities, the designers featured in our magazine over the years and all the bold-faced names in photography and design journalism that we see in our pages. It made for a lively evening. ■ Our gracious host Cindy Rinfret looked stunning and very much the mistress of her lovely home. A toast was made to her and to D.J. Carey, who has been at the editorial helm of the magazine since its inception. Here’s to the next eight years. Cheers!
