Launch Party
The clouds parted and a glorious sun sparkled on the Ken Fulk-designed penthouse atop The Battery as a who’s-who of San Francisco toasted the launch of SFC&G. The city’s A-list mingled with top designers, architects, brokers, tech visionaries, artists and culinary and wine tastemakers. Such fun!
The day started early, as SFC&G Street Teams shared complimentary copies with shoppers, strollers and commuters at the San Francisco Design Center and around town.
Two days later, Lily Kanter of Serena & Lily, along with top San Francisco designers including Gary Hutton, Beth Martin, Benjamin Dhong and Angela Free—whose project “Marine Layers” graced the pages of the first issue—toasted Editor in Chief Alisa Carroll at a Champagne breakfast at her lovely Marin home.
And that is just the beginning: From May 15 to May 19, we invite you, dear readers, to relax and mingle at the beautiful SFC&G lounge at the center of Art Market San Francisco, the city’s premier contemporary art fair. On May 21, SFC&G sponsors Private Collections, an evening during which eight of San Francisco’s most passionate art collectors share their exceptional collections with the public to benefit Enterprise for High School Students. And on the last day of May, visit two spectacular private gardens in Lafayette and Oakland, as SFC&G joins the Garden Conservancy to present the East Bay Open Days program.
Hope to see you there!
