Fall Frenzy!

Über designer Cindy Rinfret is hosting CTC&G’s eighth- anniversary party at her beautiful home this September. Cindy was featured in the “Meet the Designer” column in the very first issue of Connecticut Cottages & Gardens in September 2004. So it will be wonderful to be in her home eight years later to celebrate both of our organizations being alive, well and flourishing! ■ While CTC&G is arguably one of the top design magazines in the world, it is its sense of place that makes it a beloved must-read in Connecticut. And the pages come to life with our signature events. On October 4, the second annual Pink Aid (our highly successful fundraising partnership with Mitchells of Westport) will once again showcase 36 pink chairs created and donated by top designers. These works of art will provide VIP seating along the first rows of the Ralph Lauren Runway Show and, subsequently, be auctioned off to attendees. Last year was a sellout, and we expect 600 people. For tickets, go to pinkaid.org. ■ November 9 through 12 is CTC&G’s Designing Greenwich—an art, interiors and style showcase held in Stamford. A select group of interior designers, event designers, fine modern and contemporary art dealers, jewelers and artisans will be represented. Tony Ingrao is the design chair, plus special appearances and keynote speeches will be made by CTC&G Editorial Director D.J. Carey, Carolyne Roehm, Vicente Wolf, Clodagh and many more. ■ If you are looking for unique holiday shopping or for design ideas and inspiration, this is the venue to visit. For more information, go to cottages-gardens.com/designinggreenwich or call us at 203-227-1400. ■ See you there!
